Dr. Travis grew up in the small town of Surrey, North Dakota. After graduating from Surrey High school in 1998, I pursued a degree in sports medicine & athletic training at North Dakota State University, but after a short while, realized the passion just wasn’t there. I desired a career that would allow me to make a difference in the lives of others.

This is when I was introduced to all health benefits chiropractic care has to offer. While working construction I hurt my low back, and was unable to even stand up straight. I visited a chiropractor for pain relief, and was then taught about how much more chiropractic can offer. After having a series of adjustments over several months I noticed that not only was my low back issue resolved, but I no longer needed to use my inhaler for asthma attacks. This change in breathing continued and soon I was off all my asthma and allergy medications, supposedly some of the “newest and best on the market.” This is when I realized that I was called to become a chiropractor, because chiropractic is not about pain relief but about CHANGING PEOPLES LIVES! After completing my under-grad at NDSU and researching the Chiropractic field and its philosophies, I knew this was what I was supposed to do. So my journey began at Northwestern Chiropractic College in Bloomington, MN. I graduated in 2007 and since then have been practicing in Minnesota and helping patients of all ages experience life to their fullest potential.

In my spare I enjoy spending time with my wife Lisa, my 7 year old daughter Olivia, and my 2 year old son Maddox. I also enjoy golfing, working out, and sports-related activities, as well as helping out with the youth group at my church.
